Free high-resolution nature photography pictures

Postby MatthewCromer » Fri Mar 24, 2006 12:21 am

These are extremely high resolution images from digital cameras and scanned large-format film. No watermarkings on the pictures. They are completely free for personal non-commercial use. You are free to put them on your desktop, print them out and hang them on the wall, whatever you like.

They're gorgeous. Thanks for sharing. I'm a pastel painter, and love to see others' work.

Glad you like them, thanks for the compliments!

btw, you have to click the "original" links at the bottom of the pictures if you want to see the full-sized images. They are really really huge (5 or 8 megapixel digital to 20 megapixel scanned film images) and at the original size best suited for viewing on a really enormous flat panel monitor or else printed out.

Thank you, Mathew,

Your photos are absolutely stunning. I look forward to going back to your site again soon, when I have more quiet time.

I am also a fellow Nature lover. And only recently received a digital camera to explore capturing some of this beauty on film. All of the computer stuff is still rather intimidating to me. But I can recognise a Pro when I see one.
