Postby sunnyjo » Tue Apr 27, 2010 12:00 pm

http://www.conscious.tv/nonduality.html (Her interview is the third or fourth one down on the right-side column.)

Has anyone else met or is familiar with Unmani?

Powerful presence :)

Mod note - spelling is Unmani - changed here...Andy

She seems to be a legitimate nondual teacher - here is her story and website:

Also seems very pleasant in form and style...all these comments after maybe 15 minutes of perusal -- not definitive...but thanks, sunnyjo.

Just wondering if/how other people had experienced her.

I met her after awakening in November and I had shivers the way she expressed continually what I had come to realise.

She is very direct though and seems to be fixed on the absolute view. I wouldn't recommend if seeking comfort!

Your welcome Andy!

Jac O'Keefe has a similar style -- hardcore women as opposed to the ultimate softie, Eckhart... :) ...all good.

Yes, Jac, a friend, is also very warm and sympathetic to individuals, also very encouraging to them, much like Eckhart. Her book, "Born To Be Free," however is a buzzsaw -- wonderful, but very piercing.

I cannot comment on Unmani. However, not all teachers I respect are always gentle, some are generally pretty harsh. Personalities vary, and individual teachers may exhibit a range of styles.
