Hello from Scotland!

Postby poptart » Thu Aug 23, 2012 1:58 pm

Hi all,
My name is Sandra and I have been reading The Power of Now and watching lots of Eckhart's Youtube teachings so I thought it would be nice to join in with a community of like minded souls. :D

I am an empty-nester housewife with two grown up sons and a soppy dog who takes me for regular walks. I'm also a writer of fiction and student of the human condition. I have been interested in Buddhism for several years; did the Discover the Heart of Buddhism course about ten years ago but Eckhart's teachings have gotten me interested in meditation again after a few years' lapse.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.
Sandra

Thanks, guys!

Runstrails, I live in East Lothian which is east of Edinburgh. Very rural, so I'm totally spoiled. :)

Welcome, Sandra! I'd like to borrow some of your cool Scottish weather. Been hot here in Northern California. Enjoy the forum; there are many wise and wonderful people here who can help you on your journey.

It has been unusually hot and humid here, which I don't like at all. California sounds lovely.
