Hi, I'm a 21-year-old who recently came across Eckhart Tolle's stuff. I'm on my second reading of The Power of Now, and it really feels like I'm changing my mind state. Sometimes my ego will interfere, and it feels like I've lost some of the progress I've made. But you can't really lose your self, can you?

Anyways, here are a couple questions:
Eckhart mentions that you shouldn't want to change, but that you should simply do it. Is this a paradox?
I always have music in my head. I feel like it takes me out of the now and that sometimes I dwell on it. What would be a good way of getting rid of it? Should I get rid of it at all?

Thanks guys, it's great to find such a huge community of like-minded people :)
