My 100 days of presence

Post by zevza » Sun Mar 29, 2015 10:10 pm

Im going to do 100 days of being present. I want to be present in everything I do, because I sense I need to be present more... I know its not a goal to be present, but at least I have some sort of indicator on how much I am actually present:)

Hi zevza. I'm sorry no one has said hello before now, it seems like this forum has gone quiet for some reason. Some questions:

1. Have you started your 100 days?
2. Are you saying you're trying for 100% presence in every one of those days? Is that a realistic goal?
3. If that is your goal, what if you notice a lack of presence on day 99? Would you want to start over?
4. Do you have an indicator of how much you're present?

Cool: presence boot camp! ;-)

You can learn a ton by experimenting in the lab of self.

Most importantly, be gentle on yourself when you do stray from presence. We all do it and it will happen with you.

So, set realistic goals with this. Part of being present, is accepting that there are going to be plenty of times when you are not present, as paradoxical as that might sound. Start slow and just allow it to happen.
