Hello there

Post by AndyD » Thu Nov 25, 2004 3:33 pm

Hi Everyone,

My name is Andy and I'm based in Leeds, England. I own several of the audio books and attend a silent group (does that count as a life story?)

I look forward to growing with everyone else here.

Andy

Hey Andy,

Which audio books do you own, and what do you think about them?

Hi Eric,

I have (in the order I bought them):
The Power of Now
Living a life of inner Peace
Realising the Power of Now (only listened up to CD 3)

To be honest they are all excellent. Although I read a lot of books and can take a lot on board from them I've taken so much more from these CD's as Eckhart's voice adds that extra dimension. You can easily listen to them over and over again.

I really love Eckhart's audio books. It seems that his book is just a summary of what he talks about, but there is so much more depth when you listen to his various CDs. It's also a very different experience. Very soothing somehow. I have used it several times to escape into the present in some really difficult moments.

Andy, could you please email me the track names of the CDs from Realizing The Power Of Now? I'd really appreciate that.

I was listening to Realising the Power of Now, and at one point this really pure joy was just there. Something magic happens, when you can actually remove all the manifested stuff, and what lies beneath is so pure!
