Hi, This is Srini here. I am from Bangalore, India. Any of you been here?

I am 66Yrs old. So far seem to be the oldest member. Hey wait , before any of you dispose me off as antique, let me proclaim that i am the junior most member of the forum. You see, I joined only yesterday!

Having retired from the Indian Air Force, i am on my own now, trying to be at peace with myself.

I have read PON. I suppose it will take me more time and understanding to be with NOW.

Thank you for letting me be with you all.

Namaste

Srini, welcome. Bangalore, India - wow! Back in the days of following Indian gurus I used to dream of going to India. By the way, if I had waited a couple of more months I would have been in my own separate category in the poll, too.

I turned 50 on the day of my very first post: March 31.

People tell me I look 40. But I FEEL 60, so I guess I'm a true 50.

When introducing myself I already said that I'm 47 but I feel 15 (and behave accordingly  ) and sometimes, when I watch the world and the people, I feel like a toddler - everything feels new, strange, even weird to me (jamais vue?), I feel as if I'm making my fist steps in life . There's a funny name for such persons in Polish (there are no other Poles on this forum so there's no use quoting it) and it's difficult to put in in English, it's something like "a baby-old rag". Have you ever seen such old ladies, always giggling, jumping and shouting, squeeking - I'll be one in the future.
