Hi, I'm new and would like to introduce myself

Post by DRS » Sun Jul 08, 2007 11:37 am

I'm from the Kent in England, male 53yrs old. On leaving school (I'm amazed I can remember that far back) I trained and made my living as a professional musician. I am now an accountant would you believe. I started reading Eckhart Tolle's book when I was drawn to it in a book shop. For me it struck the right cord - I'd long been interested in zen. Along with Mr Tolles life and works I'm also interested in Ramana Maharishi who in my opinion was that rarist of rare beings - a true adept, a master in the proper sense of the word. Anyway it would be great to hear from you.

Welcome DRS, good to have you with us. There is a thread in the Spiritual Teachers section from a long term Zen student. That would be Adyashanti. One of my favorites. We look forward to your contributions.
