Hello Mohanrao, and welcome the the board.

What can you do? Begin by not labeling any situation or thought as "bad". There are simply situations and thoughts - none of them are inherently good or bad. Simply see them without labeling them; they simply are what they are, a kind of movement in the mind or senses - watch them come and go. Now, what is it that sees the coming and going of everything? If you see thoughts about "me" how can you be those thoughts? What You are must not be those thoughts but that which sees them - makes sense, doesn't it? You must be that which doesn't come and go, that which is still and ever present.

Now, you won't be able to "pin" That down with the mind because That is what witnesses the mind. So, sit down, close the eyes and observe carefully what happens. Notice what comes and goes without trying to hang on to or resist whatever is coming and going. Just relax and be; without trying to be anything in particular, without trying to understand what "That" is "That" will be realized to be what You are. "That" is just presence itself, the sense of existence, of being - It is quiet and still, yet awake and aware. It is That which knows.

Eventually, you'll realize/feel That with eyes open as well.

Welcome! Mohanrao.
Great honest question.
'Good' or 'bad' is a mind made judgment. Next time, try not to label what is happening. Then see if you can be present. Keep us posted!
