I just love Adya and I think he deserves his own forum.

I just finished listening to Adyashanti's 3 CD set titled "I AM". It is a talk given around the Christmas holiday so it is somewhat of a tangent from his usual material. It is an excellent introduction to Christian mysticism, providing context for understanding Jesus the man, the crucifixion, and Christ nature. Adya explains the deeper implications for all of us, in the bible passage "thy will be done". Another way to phrase this that Adya has used in other recordings is "not my will, but my heart's will be done". Restating it this way removes the sense of separation that "thy will" implies. Suggesting that there is an I, and something outside of I, that can influence its affairs.
This recording is one of my favorites. I'm sure I will be listening again just for that Christmas feel.
by thinking of something you create an entity and by thinking of nothing you create another. Let such erroneous thinking perish utterly, and then nothing will remain for you to go seeking!
