The Doorway To Now

I just love Adya and I think he deserves his own forum.

The Doorway To Now

This recording presents the "Now moment" in a slightly different context, I found it poignantly compliments Tolle's PON.

His Feb 18th radio show had a very similar theme "Awakening from the Past". It's 1h 51m show and it's a free download on his website.

I just listened to a free downlaoad called "Spiritual Addiction" that was amazing. He blows my doors off.

I have been dropping the notion of "spiritual experiences" gradually and abrubtly thanks to Adya. I am definitely of the butter melting or glacier melting type.

I am finding that going into the ordinary or painful more deeply, letting it be, is a powerful, yet peaceful experience. I have to remind myself that this is all there is. What is in front of me. Again and again.....

Mason, I downloaded the radio show and I'll listen for you (can you give me a hint?)

James, I may drop a dime on your recommendation, thanks.

Thanks Mason and Onceler for the heads up on these two new free Adya downloads, I pasted more info below on them. I just listened again to The Doorway To Now satsang this past weekend, which I mentioned at the top of this thread. He talks about how we are never not in the Now, but that it is our thinking that gives us the sense that we are outside of the moment. He also talks about how spiritual seeking is a future oriented trap.

Eric posted a link to a video interview with Adya in another thread. It is very good. It can be downloaded for free, which then plays in high resolution, full screen.

Global Oneness Project Interview:
Spiritual teacher Adyashanti describes how in the development of human consciousness, there comes a shift from a sense of a separate self toward the experience of unity. He points out that the fear of losing our individual identity keeps us from making this shift, and by confronting our fear we come into love. Adyashanti also suggests that reaching a point of crisis can allow an opportunity for consciousness to shift, individually and collectively.
