In the words of Dr. Phil, how's that working out for you? (For those who don't know, Dr. Phil McGraw is a psychologist in the United States who has a TV show dealing with people's issues of coping with life situations and understanding why they are the way they are. His pet phrase is "How's that working out for you?" when people describe the actions they've taken to remedy their situations.)
"Miss Kelly, perhaps you'd like this flower. I seem to have misplaced my buttonhole ... Miss Kelly, you know, when you wear my flower you make it look beautiful." Elwood P. Dowd

My brain is attempting to understand...

In terms of awakening, that’s a great realisation, isn’t it ?
To see the mind working away there, trying its best to understand.
Seeing it means you can let it be.

Surely the brain has no chance to understand, it wasn't designed for that, if that's what Dr. Phil's question referred to :)

Kiki, If someone said to Dr. Phil, "When I need to bang a nail into a tree and don't know what tool to use I just use my head." Dr. Phil would no doubt say, "How's that working out for you?"

And the answer might well be, "Bliss, when I stop banging".

Experiences come and go, just as thoughts do, still...
Life for me has changed utterly from the inside out, some people even take notice :)
I have let go of the gruesome story which has helped direct me here - I have made peace with it.

...
Words are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup
They slither wildly as they slip away
Across the universe
Pools of sorrow, waves of joy are drifting through my opened mind
Possessing and caressing me

Nothing's gonna change my world ....

(John Lennon - Across the Universe)

Glad to hear it. Congratulations. Now you can begin writing your own songs about the universe.
