Should I track my habits? Yes or no?

Should I track my habits? Yes or no?

Hey guys!

What do you guys think about keeping a track of my habits? I think having a journal where I could track my habits could be useful (working out, eating healthy, meditation etc.) but isn't it just attachment to outcome? ego playing with me? "I should work out today, tommorow... 5 times a week" is clearly ego isn't it?

The first thing that comes to my mind is this sentece; the hapits are the problems!
A Habit mean doing a behaviour(good or bad) uncounciously...
If there isn't conciousness in what you do, sooner or later it'll become boring or in the best case, it will hide the true essence of present moment...
You are actually using present moment as a tool to get a result, when you are doing something uncounciously, when you're not awareof what you're doing.
