Is there any need to judge the Ego?

I find in myself the tendency to try and justify why my ego is right or try to find ways to fault the ego. However I wonder if this is really necessary, or if it just gives the ego more power.

Judging right and wrong is what the ego does. It's the modus operandi for creating a sense of separateness from what is judged, and thereby life as it is. Of course we can't see the ego as wrong either, as that too is an egoic judgment. Just see it for what it is and choose a different perspective. One that you prefer based on how it feels in terms with aligning with your higher nature.
