Is THE GREAT DIVIDE real? You would only ask such a question from 'this' side of THE GREAT DIVIDE.

I think Jesus may have been talking about crossing THE GREAT DIVIDE here.

"Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."

-- John 3:7

I don't think Jesus was referring to the emotional convulsive indulgences some of the church people think it is.

Is everything left for God to decide? I don't know.

Do we have a choice? I don't know.

I do know that many of the people have had to go through intense periods of searching and suffering. Although no amount of searching and suffering can 'make it happen' as far as I can tell.

I know that the Bible says:
*******************************************************
Luke 11:9-10 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)

9And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

10For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

*******************************************************

I have spent my entire life Asking, Searching and Knocking...just like it says in the above verses.

To little or no avail it would seem.

It looks to me like Tolle, Byron Katie and Leonard Jacobson are fulfilling their respective Destinies and operating powerfully from within their respective Callings.

Call it what you will. Consider it what you wish.

The fact remains that Tolle, Byron Katie and Leonard Jacobson are all now ABLE whereas before they were all UNABLE.

I call the difference between the two states of being THE GREAT DIVIDE.

You see some particular word coming up often? I think, I think, I think. Beliefs, beliefs, beliefs.

Then you go on with quotes from the bible, which really doesn't do anything for me. Hey, it's just a book. More words and more beliefs to believe in. You can twist the words around, and there you have truth for yourself. That's why there is so many different kinds of christianity. They interpret the words in the bible in different ways, and they get their seperate truths.

Yeah. It looks to YOU like that is what is going on. One viewpoint in a pool of A LOT of other viewpoints. If you are right, prove it!

I know one thing for sure. I am. And so are you. Shall I prove it? Do I really have to?

Well, personally, I don't need any proof. I remember quite well being on the 'other' side. From first hand experience.

As far as 'proving it' to anyone else. It's not necessary.

"A mother cow will recognize the cry of her own calf out of the cries of 1,000 calves."

If that is not sufficient proof for you, then it may be that nothing save the direct first hand experience of being on the 'other' side of THE GREAT DIVIDE will do.

I hope that happens for you. And I hope it happens for me too.

(That is, if what I claim is true, of course. :D)
