in order to cure anxiety you pretty much have to ignore the current beliefs you've learn't by Tolle and the law of attraction - they are not explaining reality all that well and only causing more harm then good.
Your anxiety started at one specific time in your life - you created a belief that needs to be transformed. Eckart says not to have beliefs yet he is teaching his beliefs and you are believing them - odd don't you think? We all have beliefs - that is your DNA at work basically - for you to have a belief your body must create the right peptides and proteins for you to experience them and that gets attached to your DNA. So at some point when your anxiety started you had this fight/flight experience - usually anxiety is a sign that you are unsure of the safest way out of a problem causing self doubt and lack of confidence. Currently all systems are flawed - education, medical, economic, justice, political - so while you have a belief these systems are something you can trust you will feel constant anxiety because it's like putting a round peg in a square hole - it can't be done causing you anxiety because your still trying to make a flawed system work for you. Those who heal from anxiety today either figure out the answers, they see all flaws and no longer participate with them or they accept the flaws and use it to their advantage without knowing the harm they are doing to others. Think of it this way - currently we are either the slaves or the slave masters - there are basically two classes although different levels of those classes. You will either decide to be the slave or the slave master - both are dead wrong. The slave masters tend to have all the wealth - so Oprah, Chopra, Wayne Dyer, Eckart all have choosen to be the slave masters causing harm to all others while thinking they are doing the right thing. That is why they suffer from illness's - Oprah over eats, Wayne Dyer has cancer, Chopra is depressed and meditating on his own death while writing books trying to convince us all to accept death not life - Eckart to will develop an illness - he is manifesting massive amounts of negative energy to himself with his flawed information that his ego tells him he is right.
Try to remember when you first experienced your anxiety - then try to see the rules or beliefs you developed that you took to keep you safe at that time. My guess is something happened you didn't know what to do so your rule is PANIC. maybe develop a better belief, a better rule like - when I don't know the answers to anything I just have to be peaceful, calm and loving and ask the universe "ok what is the right thing for me to be doing" - ask good questions and be open and a good answer will come. if you do this process while in fear, anger, frustration, panic, anxiety - any negative state of being and ask the universe what you should be doing and it will always give you the wrong answers but it will feel like the right one.
then should you experience further anxiety - pay attention - what triggered it - you will always have a trigger that will set you off - develop a new rule when ever this happens to you.
There is an information field around our planet - it can't be seen just like air but it doesn't mean it's not there. There are two layers of this information surrounding us - one is negative the other positive. You can easily access this information field through intuition and state of being. if in a state of being calm, loving you get loving information, in a state of fear you will access negative information.
communicate with your anxiety when it appears again and ask it what it wants - it wants something and it will always be information. All problems are nothing more then a lack of information - give a problem the missing information and the problem disappears. and always remember - every problem is born with it's solutions. problems are visable while solutions are invisible but just because you can't see something does not mean it's not there

Even though I feel fairly confident that I can rid myself of this anxiety for good now I am unsure whether to use the law of attraction to ask for states other than anxiety eg happiness/ feeling good/ calmness. The reason that I am hesitant is because I don't know whether this is just masking over the anxiety and so the anxiety gets swept under the carpet ready to come out at a later time? (maybe I should always just deal with the emotions in the moment and observe them like Tolle says)
However I have noticed that by focusing primarily on Tolles teachings especially 'the feel the emotion/anxiety fully and just observe it technique' that I am finding it hard to get over the anxiety doing just this alone? It feels like in some sense that I am just attracting it back into my life via the law of attraction? OR am I just not doing it right? (maybe it just take time to get rid of the anxiety)
In particular I am asking any of you who have a good understanding of both Tolle AND the secrets teachings in particular OR have used either of these two approaches to cure anxiety.
So in summary do I just do what I did before and use a combination of both teachings to effectively 'cure' my anxiety OR do I just use Tolles teachings because it will NOT just sweep the anxiety under the carpet? (even though it appears to be attracting anxiety back to me somewhat!)
