My book about my experience in consciousness

Here you may share how the words Eckhart Tolle have affected your life.

My book about my experience in consciousness

Postby Psychoslice » Mon Apr 28, 2014 7:08 am

This book I have put together are my own thoughts on what I
could make out of what I experienced; the experience of dissolving
into nothingness. I have now put a label to it, the label is
called Awakening, or Enlightenment. These words are not what I experienced
but are the nearest descriptions I could fi nd to tell my story. Of
course these labels have been used by many who also have had their
own experience of what they labelled as Awakening, Enlightenment
or whatever.
If you yourself experience this dissolving into nothingness after this
so called Enlightenment, then you may use the same labels, or even
make one up. It really doesn’t matter. The experience is never the label,
even the experience isn’t what was experienced, but you will have
to fi nd out for yourself. So happy reading and may you lose or fi nd
what you need to, but remember not to take anything that I have said
serious, and also don’t believe in anything that you read here. Find
out what I have said for yourself, prove it for yourself, after all it’s your
life.

Consciously I was never really after anything in my life but I felt
there may have been an inner urge pulling me towards its SELF,
I also feel that we all have this within ourselves.
Many feel the urge to gamble, drink alcohol, fi nd as much sex as
they can but all these are the distortion of what is really trying to get
our attention. We even have multitudes of people worshipping sports,
it’s like a religion to them, they even worship the players as if they’re
gods.
This pulling is what I call Love, its like the rivers that are trying to
get back to the ocean where they originally came from. The same is
with us, we are Consciousness, and the Consciousness that we are
within the mind body, is in Love with its SELF, this love pulls it back
to its pure Source.
When we are in love with another we are in most cases unaware of
this magnetism, in most cases we distort this pure attraction with neurotic
behaviour, we start to cling to the other because we feel we are
not whole without them, when all the time we can never be anything
but wholeness, it’s just that subconsciously we know that we are part
of the other also, but we are also part of everyone else.
To realise this we now know that we are in LOVE with all, we are
ONE with all, this is the real meaning of love thy neighbour as thy
SELF.

It’s funny when one becomes so called Awakened, you suddenly start
to see everything come alive all around you, the colours are brighter,
the sky more blue, its like falling in love for the very fi rst time, not
like the outer shell of love that seems to be more of an addiction to be
clung to.
All of a sudden you notice books that explain or try to explain this
new magic. As I have already said in the shop that I have been frequenting
for a number of years, for the fi rst time the owner took an
interest in me, telling me that he knew what books I should read, he
directed me to the non-dualism section. I ended up reading just about
every one of those books, it felt as if I fi nally found kindred spirits who
thought and had the same experience as I did.
The one author that always comes to mind is Eckhart Tolle, he explains
this new love found experience so well and so simple, in fact
when the Realisation hits you, you just can’t believe how simple it is
and it was there within all along; the Cosmic joke as they say.
The problem with Religion is that it keeps you away from the truth,
it teaches you that truth is something to be obtained, something that
you have to fi nd outside of yourself.
Most of Christianity teaches you like a child and never lets you grow
in the Christ that you truly are, it teaches you that Jesus was the only
Christ and you can only be saved by His blood, by His death.

It's on amazon (there it had one review) and Barnes and noble (there it had no reviews). His posts above look like they are quoted from the book- You can pre-read about 8 or 9 pages on Amazon.

Only took a month of being here on this forum to start plugging the book  , sales must be down.

Yes my book is on Amazon and other book sellers, I asked the staff first if I could say something about my book, its not selling very good though, well no one knows who I am and it coast too much to get it out there, but it was fun to do and that is all that matters. As smiileyjen101 said, the people here might find it interesting, so that's why I shared it here.

Ask a simple question, get an opinionated answer.

Here's the link from Amazon for anybody else interested: http://www.amazon.com/You-Already-There ... 1452509271

Thanks Peas for showing the link to my book, to those who think I'm here just to sell my book, I think if someone like Eckhart Tolle was on this forum he would do the same, that is sharing his book, I am no different.

It's a gift when someone judges you - a great chance to go deeply into the arising thoughts and emotions. Thinking that someone has just joined a forum to plug a book is judgment, no matter how you spin it. Now, you can unpack what precisely that means to you. Is there comparison? Doubt? Hesitation? Judgment back? Judgment of your self? Anger?

Awareness means bringing a complete, non-personal perspective to all things. Many people react first, then wonder where their awareness has gone. That is ok. Eventually, after reacting and suffering, time and time again, they will choose awareness first and only.
