I really enjoyed that Michael, thanks, especially the pictures of him with the dog and with Kim. You picked good quotes.

My favorite is "nothing exists outside the present moment."

That may have been the one realization that truly opened the door for me. How can you argue with that?

Dogs as portals

Post by Goldenflutist » Fri Jul 06, 2007 6:43 pm

Naturally Eckhart would be seen with a dog... One of the beautiful portals life has provided to humans to assist him/her on their journey into conscious awareness.
A dog's eyes reflect the innocence and beauty of nature.

Ok you inspired me to put a picture up of one of my two favorite portals. Her name is Mai-Ling, and she is a sharpei. This is her as a baby. She won the ugliest dog award at the local humane society. But I don't see anything ugly about her. What is the saying, "a face only a mother could love." In this case, father.

Anyone who would think this beautiful portal is ugly is unconscious and on the road to hell. LOLOL Just being a little melodramatic and laughing at the intensity of expression which was mean for humor. Thank you for sharing!
