Welcome Mr. Tolle!

Absolutely stunningly beautiful, clear crisp winter day here in Florida. As I pumped my bike around the block, some oxygen must have leaked in to my brain, because something so obvious just dawned on me.

I'd guess that sooner or later Eckhart Tolle may find his way to our gathering here.

Why?

Well as funny as MadTV on the Comedy Channel is (so funny!) you have to admit, we are funnier. Take that how you wish. :-) Even great teachers must enjoy a moment of pointless silly diversion now and again, and reading our posts would seem to qualify.

We should have a proper greeting prepared, don't you think?

So.......... Welcome Mr. Tolle!

I'm not sure what you could say here that you haven't already said so well so many times.

Perhaps you'll just share your silence. I'd guess many people now make demands upon you, and we don't wish to be among the demanders. Your silence is welcomed.

Or maybe you have a silly critter photo you'd like to add, a favorite quote?

In any case, thank you for your visit, and your teachings.

Well, you know, Whoever's teachings they may be.

Hi there!

How do you know he hasn't already been here Phil  ?

As you say he would probably just share his silence.

Reading some of the inspired posts here there has to be some reason for it.

Oh, I don't know of course. He could be here now, reading this.

He could be here now, typing THIS POST, exploring role playing as a possible teaching strategy. :-) Maybe he is posing as a duck to see what the students say when the authority figure is out of the room. He may wonder, "Did they actually get it, or are they just pretending to impress me?"

Talk about not knowing who you are, hoo boy, on the Net you really don't know who anybody is, eh? It's probably good to recall how little we really know about each other, or anything for that matter.

Anyway, the fellow deserves a proper respectful greeting, he's earned it, let's give him one.
