Sorry, but what is "the end of a process of becoming" ?
What do you mean ?

Greetings,
MF.
By process of becoming I mean a gradual modification of
self as something known changing into something better.
What is known is of thought but what is of thought can
not become what is not of thought.

Thank you for explaining.

But then my mind says:
The waves on the Ocean, they start and they end,
today big, tomorrow small,
and yet the deep stays silent always,
but both are made out of the same Water,
indifferent to time ?

gv: not a lack of concern or an indifference to time
but rather untouched by time - spaciousness having
a quality of freedom or independence from thought
and time as a limited movement.

I'm just wondering if "aware of being aware" is nothing more than a word play.
Glycine,

I think it is a functional "play on words"; that is, having a purposeful use to kick-start or drop into presence awareness by trying to execute the meaning of that wording. I tend to use this wording for that purpose.

I think it means looking at Awareness with the same Awareness. I think of it as a jujitsu trick on the mindstream – to force it to subside. In other words, if I intentionally use Awareness to notice Awareness Itself, then that alert attention to awareness itself precludes thought-streaming because of that focused attention to Awareness using Awareness — it seems to help develop into a presence “awaring” which brings the Present Awareness to full strength and helps to sustain it with the same alert attention. (I often have reservations about using the word awaring because the “ing” suffix may imply a (non-existent) dualistic time continuum to some people's understanding.

That’s what seems to work for me; there are other ways, of course.
Recognize present awareness......... rest in that awareness..........don’t become distracted.

Thank you, Garuda.
Being aware of awareness definitely brings in a new dimension.
