ANY QUESTIONS...?

Post by void » Tue Jun 27, 2006 3:51 pm

All questions come from the mind.
Suppose i ask a question, and you give me some answers...
i either agree and take comfort in the fact that i know...
or i disagree and take comfort in the fact that i know better...
or i say i dont understand, and ask further questions....
none of this really gets us anywhere, except to strengthen our sense of self, or to create more questions....
Are our questions about life? it seems that they are always about what has happened, or might happen.... because if you are living in the now, witness everything in the moment of its arising, how can there be any questions..?
that would imply that we have either looked back , and left the now, or looked forward , and again lost touch with reality... either way it doesnt say much for the value of questions...
now ..does anyone have any questions...?;

When you raise question out of habit, your mind is reacting to a stimulus. We do have millions of bad habits (such as showing off how smart we are, seeking a fufiling future etc etc)

When we live at NOW, see every moment as it is it (with a sense of wonder and awe), we are open to the unmanifested. The questions we raise are needed to deal with the present situation or the result of crystalization of some devine wisdom we just realized. These question do not come FROM the mind, it comes THROUGH the mind. The mind is only a wonderful tool, not the source of wisdom.

I think one of the reasons I've never contemplated suicide is because I'm just so darn curious! ;)

You might ask questions, but we dont' give answers. Only responses. ;)

(After all, the answers, like the questions, are from the mind.)

Oh and heidi, I actually think I've moved the other way from you. I'm now more curious as to what lies beyond than ever before. I'm almost impatient to find out. :lol:

Yep, MC, that was a paradoxical statement, and after I wrote it I thought the exact same thing! :)
