My ears love the talent of Kyle Landry (pianist/composer), he has a youtube channel where he does piano covers of various songs and I think that he's just amazing at what he does. I think that one of the best things a human being can do is create things and then inspire others to follow in their footsteps and this is exactly what his videos do to me. I like how he starts off simple and soft and then just blows me away. My personal favorites are his Disney covers:

The following links are to some excellent meditation music. If listened to in 'normal' consciousness they may seem a little dull, but in deep meditation they are richly layered and emotionally moving. Both should be listened to with a quality headset, and focus on the music rather than the meditation. The music will take you into a wonderful state.

The first 'The Sweet Earth' is a healing piece. Do some deep breathing throughout and feel it align consciousness in a most marvelous way.

The second is more of a deep alignment piece, also richly layered, that creates an atmosphere of intimate integration. Again deep breathing throughout, or periodically, will aide in the transformative qualities of the music.

Enjoy.

This is such a wonderful idea. Here are some of mine. I imagine I'll be feeding off this thread for some time :)

Bjork - All Is Full Of Love

It makes me cry and shiver every time.

Bjork - Joga (live)

John Tavener - Funeral Canticle (The Tree of Life Edit)

Portishead - The Rip (Later With Jools Holland live version)

Modeselektor feat Thom Yorke - The White Flash

Burial - Archangel

Clark - Sons of Temper

The Knife - Pass This On (live)
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UNZxW6C4BNg
I couldn't get the official video but I recommend it.

High Contrast feat Tiesto and Underworld - The First Note Is Silent
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=MWOJyegyRbM
I know High Contrast from my days in the Cardiff drum and bass scene. Though I barely knew him he invited me to his house to listen to this before it was released and gave me (an amateur drum and bass producer) a free face to face production tutorial. Since then he was involved in the music for the 2012 London Olympics. Despite his name he's always sober. I couldn't understand why until I gave it all up myself. Great guy. Much love.

I suspect I'll be back with more. I hunted for these and put them up in the order I just listened to them so went on a wonderful musical reliving of some key moments in my life. I hope you find these nourishing too.

Much love,

Jack

Thank you, I loved them both. Actually I search YouTube for more Anugama songs, and I found a dozen or so of them that I like very much. Thank you!

This was the music that Dr. Lani Leary heard during her NDE. She reported that this song was the closest to what she actually heard. Her report is on afterlife TV with Bob Olsen. Very insightful. It's on youtube.

I find this music to be utterly beautiful and it's the ultimate 'music of the other side'.

Enjoy

Nice topic!

I really enjoy the band called Cocteau twins, it has a lot of surreal-feeling, otherworldly songs.

Here are a few of my favorites:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HTtL74Ytp0Y
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkvmjniEW0E

... but really, all their discography is amazing, and not as known as it should be!

I'll check out other song suggestions soon, looking forward to it :)
