Eckhart tolle Chinese books

Postby Fdajkffk » Mon Jul 21, 2014 8:03 pm

I want to get my mom either a new earth or power of now in Chinese. Unfortunately, after reading a single review, I've discovered that power of now is poorly translated. Does anybody have any comments on the Chinese version of either of these books? I can't read Chinese so idk
Thank you

You could get the Tao Te Ching instead? :p

(It's a book Eckhart mentions quite a bit. It was written by Lao Tzu who was Chinese [I think])

You may be joking, but Tao Te Ching is more difficult for Chinese readers to understand now than poorly translated The Power of Now because it was written in ancient Chinese and its translation into modern Chinese was done by people who did not really understand what Tao Te Ching is about. I can't understand either version very well although I haven't read through either :p
