Why does the 'I' suggest suicide?

Postby DJAbacus » Wed Aug 30, 2017 8:24 pm

As we all know ETs moment of awakening was when he discovered he was two, 'I can't live with myself any longer', the 'I' and the 'self'.

So is it the 'observer' that suggests that they commit suicide because the 'I' cannot bear the 'self' anymore?

I thought that the 'I' was the 'presence' and the 'self' was the ego?

Is the 'I' judging the 'self' '??

Surely it's the 'ego' talking to 'himself'??

What are ilusions(appearances)? Illusions can only be relative, not absolute...

Appearances can be deceiving when everything is seen through the ego-screen.

The ego can split off into multiple personalities or facets of self, based on history and preconditions. The mind is then preoccupied with the past and anxious about the uncertain future. These are mental blocks to awakening, like a steady resistance or tension just below the surface of consciousness from which bubble up the constant ego-chatter.

The universal intelligence speaks to the quiet mind.
