Psychological time

Hi.

Can someone help me with me vs. time struggle?

For example, for some reason, when I am doing something, I almost always rush it up ( "I know it" attitude ) and then, whether I do it good or not, I feel miserable, because if I didn't rushed it, I would enjoyed it much better. When I conciously do things slower, I feel more at peace.

For example, this is mostly visible in my academic perfomance, where, for the last 2 years, I constantly failed the subjects I was studying, mostly for the fact I rushed with the learning process and didn't learned all it took. Now, I have 2 weeks to pass the tests, I am willing to work, but my anxiety about time always kicks in.

I noticed that 90% of my suffering is anxiety - thinking and worrying about the future. Is there a way to stop that compulsive habit of rushing things and actually enjoying them?

Thanks in advance :)

Yeah, be present, slow down and stop rushing when you don't need to. It has to be a conscious decision or else you'll be ruled by habit. You said it right here very clearly- " When I conciously do things slower, I feel more at peace".
Take what you like and leave the rest.
