Thoughts / commentary that are useful (Tolle's voice)

Postby insanepenguin » Tue Oct 03, 2017 11:37 am

Hi everyone,

I'm paying attention to my mind and 'watching the thinker' but I notice that the thoughts or voice in my head is often Tolle's (or my own) voice giving me 'useful' prompts such as 'stay present', 'accept right now', 'you are not your thoughts' etc etc
Sometimes these seem a little repetitive or loop-like (even though they are good advice) and may hinder me actually being present with whatever is going on.

Should I try and bind with the internal commentary or just let it pass through?

Many thanks

Bind with what feels right. Make it your own. It takes some time and focus to reprogram our perspective. Welcome to the forum.
