Auditory hallucinations?

Has anybody heard or had a auditory hallucination?

I was sober lol.

I heard scripture. It wasn't in my head. I heard it like someone was reading it. I have been looking into the following.

Curious if anybody has had a experience? Any insights?

Upon research, it looks like i have a test coming. I am praying to be ready.

Perhaps 35 years ago at the age of 33 I had an experience I'd never had before nor since. It happened to be the night of my birthday, and while lying in bed and reflecting on my life to that point an audible male voice said very clearly and lovingly inside my mind, "Don't you know I'll love you no matter what you've done in your life?" I wasn't feeling depressed or anything like that, but I believed at that time I wasn't where I thought I should be for someone my age in terms of accomplishments or career goals. It just seemed to come from left field since I wasn't praying or seeking to find an answer as to why I was where I was in my life.

The OBE literature is filled with such occurrences. It usually happens when one is in an extremely relaxed state and contemplating some concern or interest. Kiki's report sounds like just such an occurrence. It could also happen when reading as we are often quite relaxed and away from our body orientation as when reading before bed.

Yeah, it was interesting. Its got me researching into mythology, angels, gospel, etc. Lots of love and self study. I want to see where it takes me. I am feeling like I am putting a abstract puzzle together.

My life is in transition. I was warned that, I will have tests and the message pretty much was a warning to be prepared. More accurately, it was scripture and particular steps, and actions to take. Then, after prep, a message will come. I said in mind, I Surrender (essentially). Thats, where I heard it.. But not in my mind. As though someone had said it to me. Nobody was there.

The creepy part was that a choice of wording was slightly different from the scripture. The choice in wording was that of someone who passed on would use. The piece of scripture was never articulated by that person. I just recall that person using the choice of wording.

When I acknowledged the following, i had chills go down my spine. I am a cynic lol and naturally skeptical. I am still going to be exercising accordingly. Preparing for what's to come and enjoying the ride (as best as I can).

Personally, I've never experienced any auditory hallucinations (or visual ones).

Here's a discussion on an OBE forum talking about hearing voices. People talking about their experiences. I'm not sure it completely answers the phenomena, but does show it's common and should give you some information to consider.

Most of the time hearing voices or other noises is mentioned as a secondary phenomena in the larger report of OBE's.
