Best ways to meet other like minded people in person?

Just wondering if anyone knows of some great ways to meet other like minded people in person. Ive tried meetup.com and that's about it. I was thinking of visiting a buddhist temple. at the risk of disrupting your stillness, any thoughts?

There are Eckhart Tolle groups in many cities around the world. Visit his website and check if there is a realistic location you can travel to. I've never attended one, although I asked somebody by email what they do. He said they watch ET videos and spend time being 'still'. I don't believe its particularly sociable, in the way you might want to experience. But try it out.

And don't forget that there are many 'normal' people with plenty of wisdom to offer even if they know nothing about Tolle or spirituality. I have come to realise this recently. Good luck.
